Miele was founded in Westphalia, Germany in 1899 by Carl Miele and Kurt Christian Zinkann.

The company philosphy is summed up by the phrase ‘Immer Besser’ (Forever better) which reflects Miele’s aim to constantly strive for perfection in all areas of our business. The company as a whole employs approx. 15,000 people worldwide.Miele came to the UK in 1963 and made the move into purpose-built premises on their current site in Abingdon, Oxfordshire in 1980.

Miele products

Miele products are renowned for unrivalled quality. They are designed and tested for a working life of 20 years.

The product range includes domestic kitchen appliances, such as washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, refrigeration, ovens, hobs and hoods as well as a large range of cylinder vacuum cleaners.

Miele also makes an extensive range of bespoke kitchen furniture which provides the perfect compliment to their appliances for a totally integrated look for all lifestyles.

For use in commercial environments, such as hotel laundries, hospitals and laboratories Miele offer a wide range of machines to suit all types and size of installation.
